Below are the most common colors in the Shih Tzu breed and the colors we produce the most often as well. Occasionally we get Brindles and Silvers in partis and solids too, as both colors are in the majority of our bloodlines. Both solid Gold and solid Red often have the black facial markings/black mask, which sometimes will stay and sometimes fade over time, as seen below. Some partis in gold and red are tri~colored, meaning they have black tipping on their ears, tails and occasionally mixed in on their bodies. Sometimes we produce gold or red sable, which have a lot more black throughout their coat color, as seen on Bravo below in the red section on his chest and back, not simply his mask. There are also Blue, Lavender and Dobie Shih Tzu, although we do not breed for those colors.
